2020 Virtual Conference Delegates Page

Welcome to the 2020 Virtual Conference page for delegates.  Here you will find additional information about the program, the speakers, our sponsors and a bit of bonus content.

Practical issues

The Virtual Conference will be hosted via some special software from a company called Hey Summit.

Nearer the Conference dates (12 and 13 May) we will be importing all delegates into the system so you can view the different talks and in due course, watch them.  You will be notified when this happens.

We have some Guidance Notes Here on using the Conference system.

The system will send out emails with links for you to follow to access the talks and it should all be pretty easy.

Once the Conference is over you will still be able to access the site and watch the replays of any talks you missed or any that you want to watch again.

The site will be available for at least three months after the Conference ends so you will have plenty of time to watch everything.

We will also be loading up the CPD questionnaires after the Conference has taken place as they will be based on the talks.

Dave  Princep on the Electrical Regulations

The Conference does not contain any dedicated talk on the new Electircity Regulations which are due to come into force later this year.  So we include here a talk from Independent Housing Adviser Dave Princep which looks at the regulations in some detail.

This is one of the regular training webinars which are run monthly for Landlord Law members.  Dave Princep is one of our regular trainers.  In this talk he will be

  • Giving an outline of the current requirements regarding electrical safety in rented premises, and
  • Discussing the requirements of the new Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020

Sign up to the webinar via the widget you will see on your right or (if you are viewing on mobile) below.
