Guildford Borough Council

The Borough of Guildford is a local government district with borough status in Surrey, England. Guildford is its largest settlement and only town, and is the location of the council.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974, under the Local Government Act 1972 by an amalgamation of the municipal borough of Guildford and Guildford Rural District.
