Legal help, services and support for private residential landlords
The problem of spamThe problem of spam in the world gets worse and worse and it is using up huge internet resources and raising the cost for everyone.
To help counter this, the email companies are introducing new rules to counter spam. One of these is that people who continue to send emails to recipients who have not ‘engaged’ with any of their mailings for some time will be penalised.
‘Engaging’ means basically opening emails and/or clicking a link in them.
So we are contacting people on our mailing list who have not ‘engaged’ for three or months, about this.
But what if you are not getting our emails anyway? What if they are just going into your spam folder?
There are two ways to deal with this.
If you don’t want to get our mailings, it is best that you are unsubscribed so they don’t get sent out to you in the first place (thus reducing unnecessary mailings in the system). You can do this by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of all our mailings. Or ask us to do it for you.
However if you DO want to receive our mailings what do you do? How do you ‘whitelist’ an email?

They way to do this will depend on the email program you use to get your emails. So take a look at the various options below.
Gmail
Outlook
Yahoo
AOL
Apple Mail
Windows 365
If you use a different email program you would like us to add here, let us know via our Green Button messenger service (see the green button bottom right on this page).
Note that I do not include pictures in all sections as I don’t have access to all types of email account. However all systems work in a similar way so hopefully you will be able to work it out from the instructions.

This will then appear on the emails and allow you to identify them easier.
