A mini upgrade of the Landlord Law site

April 12, 2024

New LLL Menuss 2024Some of you may have noticed a bit of a difference with the Landord Law site!  We have had a bit of an upgrade.

The new Home Page

This now has a very prominent login box right at the top.  As if you are a member logging in or are looking to use a kit or course you have purchased, you will just want to log in and go straight there.

The rest of the Home Page gives an explanation of Landlord Law and what we do.

Our membership services are now described as essentially five:

  1. The Audit Kit – which all new members should follow immediately to check you are compliant
  2. Legal Information and Guidance – which members can best access via our checklists.  Although there are many other navigation routes, mainly via the menus in the dark blue site header
  3. Documents – which are pretty extensive and I know are much appreciated  by members
  4. Training – in particular our monthly webinar training (next months training is on fire safety with Justin Bates KC).  All the webinars are recorded so you can watch them later (if you are a Business Level member).  And finally
  5. The Forum – where I can give you a bit of one-to-one advice and support, and you can discuss issues with other members.

Other services, such as our non-member training and kits are described below on the new Home Page, along with some of our free services.

New members can also now join directly from the Home Page (although our old joining page is still there).

The new Members Dashboard

This mostly contains the same stuff as before but ordered slightly differently.

The items which were previously linked from boxes half way down the page and now to be found conveniently along the top of the page.

We have also separated out the posts which deal with CPD and those which are just information articles.

A new member menu

Finally, we have given members a new menu, which will display on all the Landlord Law member pages.

This will give you direct links to the five areas of Landlord Law discussed above, along with a link to the Wales page, the AZ page and our help section.

I know some members have sometimes struggled to find the forum and documents pages in particular, so these will now be at hand for you.

You can see the new menu and the new links at the top of the member dashboard in the image above.

I hope you find the new layouts helpful.  If you have any comments, let me know!
