Landlord Law Conference 2020

Top speakers and a friendly atmosphere.
The easy way to make sure you and your staff are fully up to date with the law. Why not bring your team?

Conference will take place on 12 May 2020

About the event

Landlord Law is an annual event for landlords, letting agents, housing advisers & lawyers, and anyone working in the Private Rented Sector.

There have been so many changes over the past few years – and more changes planned for 2020 – you may be finding it hard to keep up with it all.   But you need to be compliant as the penalties are fierce.

The Landlord Law Conference is a great opportunity to get bang up to date – with training from experts – and get 5 hours CPD if you need it.

This is our eighth annual Landlord Law Conference.

Question time

Comments from delegates at Conference 2019

The content was varied, targeted to the audience but also concise.A fantastic range of speakers from difference parts of the industry.

A very useful ‘low down’ on the ever-increasing legislative changes!

Your speakers are experts.

It is like having a free counsels’ opinion – thank you.

As well as the relevant content at the Conference, it was also great to meet other professional, agents and landlords and discuss difference things they do and resources they use.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Some Frequently Asked Questions

Is my place guaranteed after I have booked?

Your place is not guaranteed until we have received full payment. If the event is sold out, we reserve the right to re-allocate your place to another delegate if you have not paid (although we will normally contact you first)

Can I cancel if I find I can’t attend after all?

You can cancel within 14 days of booking without penalty and receive a full refund. After that you can cancel any time up to 14 days before the event and get a refund subject to a £25 administration fee. No refunds are paid during the last 14 days before the Conference.

Is there CPD?

Yes, you can claim 5 hours CPD – most organisations such as ARLA, the NLA and the SRA will accept attendance at our conference against your CPD.  We will email  your CPD Certificate to you after the event.

Why is your Conference near Norwich rather than somewhere more central such as London?

To get the most from a Conference it is best to be relaxed and happy – a rural location is more condusive to this. You will take in more if you are not stressed. Dunston Hall is a beautiful building  and is surrounded by grass and trees. It is also considerably cheaper than similar venues in, say, London so we are able to keep our costs down.

It is a reasonably easy journey from London (2 hours from Liverpool St) and anywhere in the Eastern Region where many of our customers are based. It also helps us as we are based nearby.

Everywhere is going to be inconvenient for someone. If you have to travel – why not take advantage of it and combine Conference with a weekend in East Anglia (a famous holiday destination)? We have negotiated special rates at the hotel for you.

Do you cater for people with disabilities?

Yes. The Sunningdale suite  (where the conference takes place) is fully accessible for persons with disabilities. However if you have any special needs please let us know when booking.

Do you cater for special diets?

Yes. Provided you tell us in advance, the venue can cater for most diets e.g. gluten free, lactose intolerant etc. There will always be a vegetarian option.

I’m not local and would be nervous staying at a strange hotel on my own

As usual at our Conferences, all delegates staying overnight before the Conference will be welcome to join us for our (pay extra) ‘evening before’ dinner in the hotel restaurant. We will be providing details of this to delegates nearer the time.

Can anyone come to the ‘before the conference’ evening meal?

Yes, this is arranged mainly with those staying at the hotel in mind but we are very happy for any delegates or exhibitors who are local to attend. Details of the meal and our ‘dinner form’ will be provided after you have booked, nearer the time.

Are there any special hotel prices for delegates?

Dunston Hall have agreed some special discounted prices for Conference delegates. Details on how to claim this will be provided after you have booked your Conference place.

NB Hotel bookings should be made asap as rooms tend to sell out closer to the Conference date.
