Dealing with Waste Kit

This was inspired by Sarah Bradley’s training talk from September where she explained landlords duties as regards the disposal of waste.  Duties which I am sure many landlords are unaware of.

So in order to make it easier for landlords to understand and comply with their legal duties, I created this kit.  With a bit of help from Sarah!

• Part 1 introduces the subject, explains what ‘waste’ is, and sets out the penalties for non-compliance.  We also have a few useful case studies to warn you of what might happen!  And a section with helpful resources.
• Part 2 is basically the training webinar delivered by Sarah but divided into bite-sized and more easily digested sections.
• Part 3 has four checklists developed by Sarah to help you deal with waste issues at different stages in a tenancy, with notes
• Part 4 is very short – just one section with a helpful discussion from the webinar and our feedback form.

All landlords should read and watch the videos in parts 1 and 2 so you are aware of our legal obligations.

Then when you need to deal with waste, the checklists in Part 3 will be your friend.

Business Level Members only

At present, the kit is only available to Landlord Law Business Level members. 

I may make it available for sale later if there is a demand, but really, your best value is just to join Landlord Law.  We have a monthly membership if you do not want to commit for a whole year.

If you have one of our Basic Level memberships, it will not be available to you, but you can always switch your membership!  (And then switch it back again if you want to).
