Which Tenancy Agreement?
Answer: License / hostel
As none of the occupiers will have ‘exclusive occupation’ of any part of the property, they will not be tenants. You should not, therefore, give them a tenancy agreement.
This sort of situation is generally where rooms are being let in a hostel. The hostel invariably also provides services, at least cleaning services and bed linen, and often breakfast also.
We do not provide an agreement to cover this situation. However, if you are running the hostel as a business, you should have your own agreement drafted to reflect the type of business you are running.
If you require assistance, any of our telephone advice service panel solicitors will be pleased to draft a suitable agreement for you.
You should start by booking a telephone advice call with them, where you can discuss the work needed. They will then give you a quotation for the drafting work.
