There is training.  And then there is training.  

Although there are many training courses available for landlords, most are with non-lawyers, and they often focus on how to earn more money, sometimes using procedures that others might describe as ‘dodgy’.  

However, as a landlord, you are legally obliged to comply with numerous rules and regulations.

It’s not much use using training to learn how to earn more money if your income is then depleted by being fined because you have failed to comply with the law.  Or having your tenants apply for a rent repayment order (which can be for us to 12 month worth of rent!) because the trainer forgot to tell you that you needed an HMO license!

• Civil Penalties

Justin has first hand experience of many of the most significant landlord and tenant cases as he appeared in them as Counsel!

We don’t have a PowerPoint presentation as Justin dislikes them, but we do have very detailed notes.  

There are also several ‘bonus videos’ including an interview with Justin and recorded discussions with Justin about some of the cases he has appeared in.
