Introducing the Landlord Law Daily Tips Archive

October 12, 2026

Landlord Law Tips ArchiveAt the end of August 2026, I set up a new free service, the Landlord Law Daily Tips.

This is a way for landlords to keep up with the endless barrage of new private rented sector rules, regulations and cases coming out on an almost daily basis.

About the tips

The tips are short – something that can be read in a couple of minutes – and will arrive (if you are signed up to them) in your email inbox at around 7.00 am every weekday (excluding bank holidays).

I have enjoyed writing them.  They cover all sorts of things:

  • New tribunal cases
  • New legislation and pending new legislation
  • New government initiatives
  • Warnings about common problems landlords face
  • Tips for good practice
  • And so on

People are signing up all the time, and there is a high open rate.

With that in mind, it seemed a shame to let them disappear into the ether.  Particularly as many are about cases, mostly tribunal decisions, which do not appear elsewhere on Landlord Law.

So we have now set up a Landlord Law Daily Tips Archive.

The Landlord Law Daily Tips Archive

This is a repository of all the tips.  Members can read them either by going backwards in time or filtering by topic.

This does, of course, mean that I have to post the tips twice rather than once! But it then means that the tips are available for Landlord Law members to read as an additional resource.

I can also list relevant tips, such as tribunal case reports, in the appropriate sections of Landlord Law Kits. This means that members can find them alongside the guidance on that topic.

However, signing up to get the tips sent out is still free for anyone who wants them.
